Yang Guang, born in Chao’an, Guangdong Province. Council member of the Chinese Sculpture Institute, currently based and working in Shenzhen. Working across sculpture, video, and performance, his practice explores themes such as the relationship between humans and nature, technology, and urban evolution.
His works have been selected for the 11th and 12th National Art Exhibitions, the 2nd and 3rd China Sculpture Exhibitions, and the Datong International Sculpture Biennale, among other exhibitions. His works are held by the Guangdong Museum of Art, the Shandong Art Museum, the Shanghai Urban Sculpture Art Center, and the Wuhu International Sculpture Park, among others.
