Known within the field of research on the public dimension of contemporary sculpture for his large-scale, monumental, thematic public sculptures. He took part in leading the creation and organization of the "Memorial Sculpture Group for the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression," and led the creation of the large-scale sculpture ensemble "Army Founding Sculpture Square." His works are held in collections across many regions of China.
