Dong Shubing, sculptor, born in October 1986 in Xinjiang.
Currently Deputy Dean of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, tenured professor, doctoral supervisor, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Sculpture Institute, Deputy Director of the Sculpture Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Society, member of the Malkasten Artists’ Association in Germany, member of the International Sculpture Center (USA), researcher at the China National Academy of Painting, Deputy Director of the Sculpture Art Committee of the Beijing Artists Association, and Vice President of the Cultural Heritage Protection Working Committee of the China Cultural Industry Promotion Association.
