Trained at the National School of Arts, Bouba took part in a cultural exchange in Switzerland in 2008, a summer school on the theme of “Art and Peace” in Caen in 2011, and then a visual arts seminar in China in 2018. He lives and works in Thiès, where he has been teaching visual arts since 2005. Inspired by the myths, spirituality and cultural richness of his surroundings, he composes rhythmic scenes, often in chiaroscuro. Silhouettes, doodles and imprints sometimes evoke solitude and meditation.
