A pioneering figure in Senegalese contemporary art, Kalidou Kassé has spent nearly forty years developing a body of work in which colour and materials explore identity, memory and transmission. Founder of Ateliers du Sahel and CIAC, he has played an active role in promoting African art, both in Senegal and internationally. He is the Artistic Patron of Empreinte 100 Ans – Dakar 2026.
