Ahmadi, whose real name is Mohamed Thiam, was born in 2000 in Médina. The son of the visual artist Abdoulaye Diogo Thiam, who died in 2024, he grew up in a world characterised by drawing and painting. Introduced to art at a very young age by his father, he gradually developed his own artistic vision.
His personal technique is inspired by rain and the light that accompanies raindrops, giving his works an impression of movement and transparency. He also draws inspiration from everyday life in Senegal: street scenes, people, traditions and landscapes become sensitive and poetic images under his brush.
His work continues a family tradition while asserting an artistic identity that is uniquely his own.
