Originally from the Thiès region, Seydou Keita is a Senegalese digital artist, director and artistic director. His work combines 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, immersive installations and video mapping to create narratives from image, light and space. He has collaborated on artistic and digital projects in Senegal, Morocco and France, and has taken part in several editions of the Dakar Biennale, notably in 2016, 2018 and 2022. His career includes artistic residencies in Morocco and a film residency in Italy. In 2023, he presented his work in several exhibitions in Morocco and performed a video mapping show in Dakar with Ker Thiossane. His practice brings together visual creation, digital technologies and cultural heritage.
